As an Accounting Associate, you play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial data is organized and available for decision-making, compliance, and operational efficiency. In a fast-growing solar energy financing business, financial clarity is key to scaling impact across Southeast Asia 
Your contribution helps us build a financially robust and scalable business, accelerating the transition to clean energy across the region.
Strategic Objectives
Objective 1: Ensure Accurate & Timely Financial Reporting 
  • Ensure timely completion of bank, AR, and AP reconciliations, maintain accurate financial records to support decision-making and audits, and prepare monthly financial reports in line with internal deadlines
Objective 2: Strengthen Tax Compliance & Regulatory Adherence 
  • Ensure timely completion of bank, AR, and AP reconciliations, maintain accurate financial records to support decision-making and audits, and prepare monthly financial reports in line with internal deadlines
Objective 3: Optimize Invoicing & Cash Flow Management 
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing to reduce overdue payments, regularly track and follow up on outstanding payments to improve AR collection, and process vendor payments within agreed terms to maintain strong supplier relationships
Objective 4: Improve Coordination & Oversight of External Bookkeepers 
  • Regularly review bookkeepers’ work for accuracy and compliance, provide constructive feedback to improve data consistency, and work on reducing errors through better coordination
Objective 5: Enhance Internal Processes & Operational Efficiency 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations, reduce manual reconciliation time through automation or workflow enhancements, and maintain well-organized financial documentation for audits or internal reviews

Key skills to drive impact
To excel as an Accounting Associate in our fast-paced, international solar energy financing business, you will need a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills. The key skills for success in this role include: 
  1. Financial Accuracy & Attention to Detail – Organizing and reviewing financial data to ensure reports are precise and reliable.
  2. Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Management – Experience reconciling invoices, contracts, payments, and collections to maintain accurate financial records. Checking, saving all required documentation and processing vendor payments 
  3. Proactive Problem-Solving – Identifying discrepancies, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting process improvements.
  4. Clear Communication & Coordination – Collaborating effectively with external bookkeepers, auditors, and internal teams to streamline accounting operations.
  5. Ability to Review & Validate External Work – Ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping by reviewing entries and providing structured feedback to external accountants.
