Our quickly growing international team is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager (f/m/x) to oversee the project planning and implementation of the construction of Solar PV projects through our local technical partners. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager with an Engineering background based in HCM City, Vietnam. 

 

Strategic Objectives
  • Ensure technical due diligence on all solar PV project designs to safeguard compliance with local and international standards
  • Deliver projects on time and within scope by coordinating with EPC partners and proactively managing risks
  • Guarantee proper documentation, including contracts, design changes, and executed works, to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for clients and partners, ensuring strong relationships and trust.
Foundational Objectives
  • Manage various technical partners constructing solar PV projects for ecoligo e.g.:
    • Performing technical due diligence on provided design documents for solar PV projects and assure that they fulfil the local requirements and international standards.
    • Working closely with the technical partners on project implementation and perform commissioning acceptance to move projects into operations.
  • Manage project documentation including meeting protocols, signed contracts, proposals, addendums, design changes, executed works, commissioning and punch list items.
  • Monitor and report project status on a continuous basis to the client, ecoligo management and other possible stakeholders.
  • Ensure project works and progress are in alignment with schedules and take action with partners if project activities are delayed.
  • Coordinate with technical partners to remedy malfunctions of the System after the installation.
  • Continuously communicate and collaborate with a remote team to get a better understanding of the business and project requirements.
Key skills to drive impact
  • Successful experience of at least 3 to 5 years in the management of construction of Solar C&I energy projects in Vietnam and other SEA markets.
  • Strong experience in Solar PV project design (Layouts, SLDs, SCADA), Solar PV design tools (Solar PV resource and yield assessment PVsyst, SolarGIS) and engineering and commissioning of such projects
  • Experience in managing Clients, EPC partners and other stakeholders during project implementation and operation
  • Good understanding of energy systems, technical components of solar PV projects, load profiles, energy consumption behaviour, especially for commercial and industrial clients
  • Understanding of relevant environmental, safety, and building codes and standards
  • Ability to lead teams, motivate members and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (or Mechatronics)
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Tools (Experience with Asana is a plus)
  • English: Very strong in written and spoken
